Everyone remembers the show How I Met Your Mother. The show is one of the funniest sitcoms out there. One of the central characters of the show is Ted Mosby. For those who don’t know, Ted is the character who narrates the story to his children about how he met their mother. He is a hopeless romantic who believes in love more than anyone else. It was recently known that Jason Biggs was offered the character. However, Ted was eventually played by Josh Radnor and people love him for that.

Jason Biggs Regrets Turning Down Ted Mosby

Josh Radnor is known for playing the role of Ted Mosby. The character is as iconic as the show and Josh lived the character rather than acting it. Moreover, Jason did not know what he was rejecting at that time and he regrets not taking up that role. However, it is hard to imagine someone else in the role of Ted other than Josh. Jason said, “I was offered the role. Yes, I was offered the role and it’s probably my biggest regret, you know, on passing.”

Jason Biggs also revealed what made him reject Ted Mosby. He revealed that he was not looking into going into TV at that time. Moreover, he said, “I think I was in a phase of, at the time — it sounds so obnoxious to say right now – but at the time it was like, ‘Okay, do I want to do TV?’ I don’t know that I was quite ready to go that route.”

Jason Biggs Is Happy He Made It Anyway

Jason feels he is happy as he still manages to survive in the industry. Moreover, he said, “Big picture, I have no regrets. Right? I’m very lucky, very fortunate. I’m still here. That’s number one,” he continued. “But yeah, if I had to pick out something I wish I had done differently, I would’ve taken that gig for sure. Absolutely.”
