Republican Governors have joined their hands to criticize President Biden for the crisis at the US-Mexico border. States like Texas and Arizona are experiencing an influx of illegal immigrants from Mexico. Moreover, the Biden administration is not taking any action to solve the issue. 11 Republican Governors came to Texas to visit the border and see the crisis by themselves. The Governors came up with an action plan to solve the crisis but it still requires action from the federal government. In a press conference, Texas Governor Greg Abbott revealed that Biden refused to meet the Republican Governors regarding the issue at the border.
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon Pushes For A Different Approach To Solve Border Crisis
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon thinks a different approach and a lot of resources is the only way to solve the crisis at the border. Moreover, Gordon said, “Wyoming citizens are impacted by a failure of the Biden administration to engage in its constitutional duty to secure our border. Seeing the conditions and hearing firsthand from agents on the ground made it clear that a different approach is needed and more resources are necessary to secure our border from drug trafficking and human smuggling.”
