Chris Rock Goes For Seven Hours Of Therapy Per Week

Comedian Chris Rock recently revealed that he goes for seven hours of therapy a week. Moreover, he admitted that the therapy sessions were necessary especially due to the pandemic. He said, “You have to tell the truth: You have to tell – you have to go into therapy prepared to tell the worst part of yourself every week, you know? I learned that I could be very hard on myself. Like really, really hard on myself, and I need to relax. And I need to listen, I need to take chances.”

Chris Rock Admits He Looks At His Past Behavior With Judgemental Eyes

Chris Rock is someone who assesses himself time and again. He revealed that he is a person who looks back at the past and puts his past actions into scrutiny. Moreover, he said, “Sometimes I wasn’t kind, and sometimes I wasn’t listening, and sometimes I was selfish, and some, you know, a lot of times. And sometimes, you know, I took advantage of circumstances, and positions, of you know, just everyday things. And you know, it’s ultimately, who do you want to be?”

Chris Rock Does Not Believe In The Term Race Relations

Chris Rock doesn’t believe in the term race relations. He feels a relationship is a connection between equals and the term race relations contradicts it. Moreover, he said, “As I always say, there are no race relations – there’s a relationship when things are equal between two people. That’s a relationship. Okay? So when you say race relations, that term doesn’t really exist.”

Chris Talks About Skepticism In Black People Regarding Coronavirus

Chris Rock feels the Black people should not be skeptical about coronavirus. Moreover, he said, “I’m a Black man. I’m going to put it this way: Do I take Tylenol when I get a headache? Yes. Do I know what’s in Tylenol? I don’t know what’s in Tylenol, Gayle, I just know my headache is gone. Do I know what’s in a Big Mac, Gayle? No, I just know it’s delicious.”
