Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stated that Bangladesh and India would continue to work together to realize their folks’ common ambitions.

“I am sure (in that),” she added, thanking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his administration for rescuing several Bangladeshi citizens, as well as Indians, who were stuck in war-torn Ukraine’s Sumy Oblast.

In a recent letter to Modi, she stated that the Indian government’s unwavering support in this area is a “testament to the special and enduring partnership” that the two nations have enjoyed over the years.

“I warmly recollect your visit to Bangladesh last year during the centenary celebrations of our Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” Hasina wrote on March 15.

Hasina wished Modi good health and a joyous Holi celebration.
