Every big actor you see today has had their share of struggles in this world. There are stories of actors doing menial jobs in their struggling days to pay the rent or afford some food. However, their constant hustle and struggle paid off, and that is why they are at the top. George Clooney is a part of this clan who has gone through a lot to the land where he is today. Recently, he recalled his struggling days where he was happy to do any jobs just to pay the rent. He said, “I was a struggling actor for 15 years. Any job you got, it was, ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you’. And you’d show up, and some guy is a jerk, and you’re like, ‘I don’t care. I got a job. I’m getting paid and paying the rent, and I’m thrilled to be here. I’m lucky.”
George Clooney Has Worked As A Tobacco Cutter
For a person who has been voted the sexiest man in the world, the last thing you expect of him is that he was a tobacco cutter someday. George Clooney revealed that he had done the job of a tobacco cutter, which he feels is the worst. Anything above that has always made him happy and content. He said, “I cut tobacco for a living for three dollars and 33 cents an hour. And I knew one thing when I left Kentucky, which was I didn’t want to be a tobacco cutter — I was pretty sure of that. So everything on top of that has been gravy for me.
George Clooney Draws Inspiration From Paul Newman
Even after being one of the most successful actors, he still finds inspiration from other actors. One of them is Paul Newman. Moreover, he said, “Paul Newman was a big influence on me. He was hilarious, and because we had an amusing relationship late in life, we were going to do [2004 film] The Notebook together. We’d been sent the script, and we were like, ‘This is the one. We can do this together’. I would play him as a young man.”

Another factor that makes Clooney starstruck is Robert. Moreover, he said, “I’m still star-struck by certain actors. I got a note from Robert Redford the other day, and I went upstairs and showed Amal: ‘Look, a note from Robert Redford’.”
