The Hili land port of Dinajpur will be closed for three days to mark Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday, National Children’s Day, a weekly holiday, and the holy Shabe Barat. During this time, the port will be closed. Passengers without passports will continue to pass through Healy.

The port will be closed from Thursday am (March 16) till Saturday. The port’s import-export activity will resume Sunday.

According to Rabiul Islam Sweety, Port Affairs Secretary of Banglahili Customs C&F Agents Association, Heely Customs would be closed due to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth anniversary, National Children’s Day, and Holy Shabbat. As a result, all port activity between the two countries will be suspended. All port activities, including import and export of products between the two countries, will restart Sunday.
