Idaho Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin Issues Executive Order Regarding COVID Vaccine
Idaho Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin has issued an executive order regarding the COVID vaccine. As per the order, employers cannot force their employees to take the COVID vaccine. The executive order is in line with the ideology of most mainstream Republican leaders. She announced the executive order in the absence of Governor Brad Little, who is currently in Texas for a meeting with other GOP leaders to discuss how Biden is handling the border issue.
Idaho Governor Brad Little Promises To Reverse Executive Order Issue By Lt. Governor Janice
Idaho Governor Brad Little and Janice are from the same party but are constantly taking stances against each other. Little revealed that the Lt. Governor did not take his permission before issuing the executive order. He vowed to reverse any such decision made by Janice on his return from Texas. Furthermore, he said, “I am in Texas performing my duties as the duly elected Governor of Idaho, and I have not authorized the Lt. Governor to act on my behalf. I will be rescinding and reversing any actions taken by the Lt. Governor when I return.”
Janice And Brad Repeating What Happened In May
In May, Governor Little was out of state for some work and Lt. Governor Janice decided to take advantage of the situation. She issued an order banning organizations from issuing mask mandates. However, Little reversed all such orders on coming back as he thought mask mandates should be decided by the local officials.
