Matthew McConaughey Talks About The First Time He Saw His Wife, Camila Alves
Matthew McConaughey was a guy who was hopeless about finding the love of his life. However, he feels it was because he was looking too hard and not being himself. However, that is when he saw Camila and instantly fell in love with her. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, he recalled the whole incident and said, “That’s when she showed up, and she moved right to the left in front of my eyes across that club. It was as if she was floating. And I did not say, ‘Who is that?’ I said, ‘What is that?’ And then introduced myself.”
Matthew McConaughey And Camila Alves Don’t Question Their Love
Matthew has never felt the same as other women that he thinks with Camila. Since meeting her, he has never thought of being with some other girl. He said, “Since that evening I have not wanted to spend time with any other woman, definitely have not wanted to sleep with anyone else. I’ve not wanted to have children with anyone else other than her. We have a love that we never question.”
Matthew McConaughey Doesn’t Want His Kids To Derive Anything From His Celebrity Status.
Matthew and Camila share three kids- Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, 8. He and his wife always teach them to be caring and not derive their worth from their celebrity status. Talking about his kids, Mathew said, “All three are very, very caring and kind individuals. We don’t want to insulate them overly from the world [or] from the success that I’ve had as ‘Matthew McConaughey, actor, celebrity.’ We let them know that Papa’s celebrity does not define Papa. Doesn’t whatsoever, but is Papa a celebrity? Yes.”

Mathew and Camila try their best to teach their kids that their worth comes from how they are as a person. He said, “At the same time we say, ‘That’s not where our worth comes from. Our real merit comes from how we’re trying to be as people, how we are as parents, how we love you, how we love each other…And Mom and Dad aren’t perfect at it, but we try to do our best.'”
