Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably aware of today’s much-publicized wedding in the tinsel town (on April 14, 2022). Yes, we’re talking about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the Bollywood power couple. After five years of dating, the couple married today in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai.
The wedding was held at the couple’s Vastu residence in Pali Hill, Bandra, in the presence of family and close friends. Pictures of the celebrity wedding quickly went viral on social media, garnering a lot of love and appreciation. In fact, the images quickly became popular on social media. And, like everyone else, we are blown away by the adorable photos. The wedding cake was one such image that drew our attention. That’s correct!
Alia’s best friend, Kripa Mehta, shared photos from the wedding reception, where we saw the couple cutting a beautiful three-tier cake to mark the start of their new journey. It was a lemon yellow cake with cream frosting and floral motifs on top. There was also a star flower motif on the cake, which made it look chic, elegant, and oh-so-classic.
In another Instagram story, we saw Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt raising a glass to “love, togetherness forever and ever.”
Alia took to Instagram to share some stunning photos from the wedding. We could see the couple, all in love, dazzling in pastel-colored Sabyasachi outfits in the photos. Alia captioned the photos, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home…in our favorite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.”

On the professional front, the newlyweds will soon share the screen in Ayan Mukherjee’s upcoming fantasy-drama “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.” The film is set to be released in 2022.
