Michelle Obama Reveals Malia And Sasha Were Thrilled At The Beginning Of Lockdown

Michelle Obama virtually came on the Conan Show a few weeks ago. She gave some insight on the initial days of lockdown in the Obama family. She revealed that everyone, including Malia and Sasha, was excited about the family time. Moreover, Michelle said, “There were the early stages where we were all excited to be together, and we were all organised, and we would spend the days apart doing our respective work.”

Michelle Obama Reveals She Had An Art Exhibit With Malia And Sasha In Lockdown

When the lockdown began, Michelle and the rest of the three came up with innovative ideas for family time. One of the exciting ideas was a private art exhibition. All four of them went to their rooms and made paintings which were then kept as exhibitions exclusively for the four of them. Moreover, Michelle said, “The girls were still in classes in the spring so that we would be working and then doing a little exercise and coming together in the evenings, and we would have these activities” like puzzles and games and an “art exhibit day.”

Michelle Reveals Malia And Sasha Got Bored Of Her And Obama Eventually

As the lockdown got extended and the cases kept rising, Malia and Sasha eventually got bored. They remain busy with classes and gadgets, and it is not like the start of the lockdown. She said, “And now the kids are back in Zoom-land with classes. They’re doing it remotely. And they’re no longer thrilled about being with us.”

Obama is happy that Malia and Sasha don’t feel entitled after their time in the White House. He said, “I think, most importantly, our children emerged intact. And they are wonderful, kind, thoughtful, creative — and not entitled — young women. So I think that’s a big sigh of relief.”
