However, her parents, especially Will was not very supportive of it. Willow was very mad at her parents for not letting her shave her hair. She said, “I definitely had to forgive you and daddy for that whole ‘Whip My Hair’ thing. It was mostly daddy because he was so harsh at certain times. It was a couple of years, honestly. Trying to regain trust for not feeling like I was being listened to or like no one cared how I felt.”

Jada Pinkett Reveals Willow Smith Wanted To Cut Her For Freedom

Jada Pinkett revealed that she wasn’t sure about Willow cutting her hair. However, it was more about finding freedom from it. She was happy that Willow was not attaching her beauty with her hair. Moreover, Jada said, “But what I thought was great was that her beauty didn’t depend on her hair. What she told me was, ‘I want to be free.
